Ground School
Our six session introduction course is designed to teach you what you need to know to become a pilot. Sacramento Area classes are held one night per week for two hours making it easy to fit into your schedule.
Subject areas include:
- Aerodynamics of Flight
- Aircraft Design and Operation
- Airspace
- Avionics
- Weather
- Navigation
- Weight and Balance
- FAA Rules and Regulations
Hands on training with glass panel aircraft
Endoresement (Needed to take the FAA Written exam)
At the end of the class there will be a 60 question final exam. If the students scores an 80% or higher they will receive the needed endoresment to take the FAA exam.
In order to ensure success on the Final Exam, students are encourged to study prior to the class topic of the night.
